Before making any major modifications I wanted to make this recipe "as is" or well, really close. I found that It was pretty much perfect. There was plenty of moisture. Perhaps those who end up with a dry pie have left the sauce thicken to much.
Here are the small changes I made: 2 tsp of Celery salt instead of celery seed and salt, Mixed frozen veggie blend of carrots corn and peas, 2 tbsp of olive oil instead of butter, because those are the things I had on hand. I thought I'd have leftovers....
